Festival catering required - help?

Postby Kelly76 » Fri Feb 05, 2010 7:53 pm

Hi guys,

Not sure if anyone here can help me but I do hope so.

I am a small festival organiser, this being our 4th year of running. The event is based around an instrument from Switzerland called the Hang, you can see the website and what the event is about here http://www.hangoutuk.co.uk.

Until last year we had some friends of ours who were small time caterers supplying the food over the weekend but unfortunately they have had to drop out this year due to personal circumstances.

What we're looking for is someone that likes a good small festival and would like to come along and do the catering for the weekend?

We have around 120 people camping for the weekend, we can offer free pitch and entry to the event so if anyone knows of anyone interested or can possibly point me in the right direction of someone or somewhere that can help i'd really appreciate it.

The festival takes place in Dockenfield, which is about 3 miles from Farnham in Surrey.

Many thanks in advance for anyones help,

Kelly

Hi Kelly

What are the dates and what type of food would you want to be served?

Hi there,

We're looking for healthy wholesome food, breakfast would be the only possible exception with some of the guest probably preferring the good ole English selection.. lunch as an idea would be Sandwiches, baguettes that sort of thing and then a choice on the evening meal... Curry, Chilli, bake potatoes, Pasta that sort of thing.

I've been in contact with one caterer so far who are getting back to me hopefully by the end of this week but obviously the options are open.

We're not charging a pitch fee here either, its a free pitch so all money taken is your own.... you're also free to join in with the festy too we'd just need to know how many of you there were :)

Thanks

Kelly

Checked out your site and it looks cool. I like the idea of festivals that have up and coming and unknown acts.
