Health & Hygiene Certs

Postby Dave Bull » Wed Aug 06, 2008 7:46 am

Does anyone know the current legislation for H&H Certs? I am looking into selling sandwiches and snacks from a catering van?

I have had a look around the net and have seen several courses at vastly different prices. Obviously I want to pay as little as possibel but I don't want to have to pay later to give extra cover if the level is too low.

Thanks - Dave

most of these courses will be CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health) one day H&H courses check with your local college as they tend to be the cheapest, rather that using a training company.

Thanks for the replies Malc. I have sent off for some course details from our local college and for the booklet you suggested.

I should have read through this before

update:

am doing the course in November now

£55 for each person - two of us going there

it seems that the courses are quite populated at the moment
as the local council could only fit us in in January
